GCRF global interdisciplinary research hubs

One of UKRI’s bold initiatives in 2019 was the launch of a new strategy to address some of the world’s most pressing issues. This involved the investment in 12 Research Hubs that are multinational and interdisciplinary in nature. The Global Challenges Research Fund is providing funding for these Hubs, which aim to generate comprehensive insights into various issues and create viable solutions that are both scalable and sustainable at local, national, and global levels. This booklet highlights the exciting progress of these 12 Hubs, showcasing successful examples thus far. We take pride in being one of these Hubs.
