“What it’s like working with – and being part of – youth advisory groups in the context of research focusing on adolescent health, gender and violence.”

In September 2022, our team joined forces with two other research teams to host an online interactive webinar. The purpose of the webinar was to share insights and reflections from our collaborative work on research projects focused on adolescent health, gender, and violence. During the webinar, we discussed various models for engaging young people in the research process and shared our experiences of bringing young people together in national, regional, and global forums. Despite differences in our approaches, we found that many of the benefits, challenges, and lessons learned resonated across our teams.
